What to Expect
- Short opening context from our two discussants
- Small-table conversation with prompts and LWV table hosts
- Curated Q&A using written question cards (no open mic)
- Clear discussion agreements and active moderation to keep the space constructive and welcoming
Content
We’ll explore civil rights in practice and what “active democracy” looks like locally—how communities build equal justice, sustain participation, and respond when trust in institutions is tested.
Who Should Come
Open to all community members. No prior knowledge required. If you value respectful dialogue, practical civic learning, and meeting neighbors where they are, this is for you.
