Our Annual Meeting last month was very successful, and we were grateful to see so many members come together for the future of our League. Because of the strong turnout and thoughtful participation, we did not have enough time to complete the full planning discussion we had intended to hold. While that was unfortunate, it was also a good sign. New and returning members showed up for their community, brought energy to the room, and made clear that our League is ready for a strong year of service, advocacy, voter education, and civic engagement.

To continue that conversation, we will hold our first Annual Planning Summit on Saturday, July 25. This meeting will give members and the newly elected board time to discuss how we will implement our program, events, priorities, and community work for the year ahead.

The Planning Summit will focus on what is most important for our League to address during the coming election season and program year, upcoming grant opportunities, and how we will show up for our region and community. Closer to the meeting, we will send more details about the agenda and discussion topics.

This will be a meaningful opportunity for members to take part in shaping exactly how our League will serve the community in the year ahead.

Member Social Following the Planning Summit

Immediately following the Planning Summit, members are invited to gather for an informal social event at Capital Ale House.

This will be a relaxed opportunity to continue conversations, celebrate the work we are doing for the region, and spend time together as a League community. The social will take place in a private reserved space at the restaurant.

Food and drinks must be purchased individually.
